Knucklehead Of The Week: AOC Is Really Bad At Pretending To Be A Criminal

When decision-making time comes during our weekly exercise to determine who to recognize for exceptional stupidity, it seems that the incomparable Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is virtually always a candidate. Aside from President Joe Biden, no one has received the honor more than AOC, with this week marking her fourth appearance. Accordingly, our panel tends to avoid selecting the leader of “The Squad” if possible, considering that there is so much knuckleheadedness out there to call attention to, and it just doesn’t seem fair that the second-term congresswoman should dominate our Saturday tributes. But then again, when she has weeks like this one, her idiocy cannot be ignored.

Winner: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was thrilled to be arrested but disappointed she wasn’t handcuffed; so, she took matters into her own hands.

When we were young kids, many of us would engage in ‘pretend’ play with our friends or siblings. We might pretend to be sports stars, or perhaps soldiers or sailors, or we might even pretend to be astronauts. But there’s perhaps no role that is more acted out by children pretending than that of a policeman and/or criminal. Spend some time with a child from today’s generation and you’ll see that the tradition continues, as they emulate characters from the children’s show Paw Patrol.

Yet, while we’ve documented several of AOC’s flaws in the past, one that we haven’t covered yet is this one: the New York congresswoman must have been really bad at playing pretend when she was a kid.

On Wednesday, she joined several other congressional clowns to participate in a pro-abortion rally in Washington D.C. before being arrested for “Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding” by Capitol Police. As she was being led away by the cops, she put her hands behind her back as if she was handcuffed. But she clearly wasn’t because only moments after beginning her walk with the officer, she raised her right hand to wave to the crowd before quickly putting it back in place again. If you haven’t seen the footage, watch it here:

There is so much idiocy with this incident, that it’s difficult to cover it all.

– We have the smirk by AOC as she’s being led away, and it couldn’t be clearer that she and her comrades were fully intent on being arrested. They wanted the photo op, and they got it.

– We have her mindset on display. She thinks it’s heroic to be protesting for the right to kill unborn babies, and she/they couldn’t be prouder.

– We have the mentality that it’s good to knowingly break the law and that it’s cool to be arrested. The cops are bad, she is good, and, of course, we know that AOC perceives herself as a victim with this whole episode.

But the fake handcuffs are the most absurd. Did AOC forget that she was faking to be handcuffed when she raised her hand? Or is that how she thinks handcuffs really work? They’re invisible and you can break free from them when you need to wave to someone.

There’s no doubt that Ocasio-Cortez belongs in the winner’s circle again this week: the woman is a complete buffoon. But if this pattern continues, and if AOC gets reelected in November, we may have to recognize the voters of New York’s 14th District as our top knuckleheads for sending this moron to Washington in the first place.

Honorable Mention #1: President Joe Biden declares that he has cancer but it’s really just another gaffe

Mr. Biden frequently has an odd approach to making his points. He seems to believe that if he can personalize things and make assertions seem as if they’re coming from his personal point of view, they will somehow be more convincing. If he’s trying to appeal to truck drivers, he’ll lie about having been a truck driver. If want to make a point about potential legislation, he’ll claim to have written a law review. During a speech about climate change on Wednesday, the president was at it again. Watch:

In case you hadn’t heard, the president was fibbing again. He doesn’t have cancer, thank God. But what might have been the most outrageous aspect of this latest gaffe was this: No one seemed to care. In the aftermath of Biden’s claim, most Americans just shrugged their shoulders. Did everyone realize he was just making crap up again? Or is Biden so unpopular that no one is concerned at the prospect of him having the “Big C?” If Biden having cancer doesn’t scare you, remember who his understudy is. And speaking of Biden’s understudy…

Honorable Mention #2: Vice-President Harris tosses her mask and hugs the moderator after being exposed to our COVID-positive president.

So, even though Biden doesn’t have cancer as he claimed on Wednesday, we found out the next day that he does indeed have COVID. Yes, the double-vaxxed, double-boosted president came down with COVID. Fortunately for Biden, his wife is a doctor. Maybe Doctor Jill can prescribe some community college homework for Joe to do; that ought to make him feel better.

Not surprisingly, we also found out on Thursday that VP Harris had been in close contact with Mr. Biden. Therefore, due to the CDC guidelines, Harris must be masked around other people and should refrain from close physical contact. But that didn’t stop her from this intimate moment with Birmingham Alabama’s mayor yesterday, only a day after Biden was diagnosed with COVID. Watch:

Yup, rules for thee but not for me, once again. The hypocrisy and inanity is stunning.
