Yikes: Woman Who Previously Threatened Donald Trump Arrested On Federal Charges

A mentally unwell Texas woman, who in the past has made threatening statements against Donald Trump, has now been arrested for threatening a Trump-appointed judge on several different occasions.

According to court documents obtained by The Epoch Times, Tiffany Gish made three separate threatening phone calls to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump-appointeee. The same documents also show Gish has previously made threatening comments against Trump himself on a Facebook page she managed. The Epoch Times reports:

“Donald Trump has been … marked for assassination,” Gish said in one of the calls, according to the documents. “I’m going to [expletive] have you shot myself,” she allegedly said in another, adding, “I’ve already ordered snipers and a bomb to your [expletive] house.”

In a third call, Gish is accused of telling Cannon, “I’m going to take my [expletive] to [expletive] Florida and I’m going to personally throw a bullet to your [expletive] head in front of your kids.”

Gish is being charged with two separate counts, one for “influencing a federal official by threat” and another for “interstate communications with a threat to kidnap or injure.” If convicted, she faces up to eleven years in prison.

Judge Aileen Bray was not an accidental target. The Epoch Times notes that she is currenty “overseeing the legal battle over records that were seized by the FBI last month from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.” The Department of Justice has previously released the heavily redacted affidavit that provided the nebulous legal grounds for wholly unprecedented raid of a former president’s private residence.

Aside from the dubious legal grounds of conducting a patently banana republic operation, there is then the Constitutional aspect that a president can de factor authorize the declassification of any document simply bny declaring it so or acting in such a manner.

In the case of Tiffani Gish, the presiding judge over her case ordered her detained pretrial based on her violent criminal past, the likelihood she would continue making threats, and the fact that the evidence against her was overwhelming. In addition, the judge said she suffers from “severe mental impairments with symptoms including paranoia and delusions” and who also has “no self-control.”

The Epoch Times reported that law enforcement’s initial contact with Gish was tense, with the suspect’s refusal to engage with them before eventually conceding her position.

When U.S. Marshals approached Gish’s home on Sept. 4, she refused to allow agents in and spoke with them through a window. After some time, she invited agents inside. Overall, she spoke with them for approximately 45 minutes.
