A head-to-head battle between these two is so monumentally foolish for both of them, and for the country. I am hopeful that the wiser leaders of the party, as well as the advisers to these participants themselves, find a way to convince both men that for the immediate future it is important that they find ways to not only NOT butt heads but to actually get along and work together. In combination, the two of them are absolutely unbeatable. Put Hillary and Michelle together on the same ticket and I don’t think they could sidetrack a Trump/DeSantis super train.

Caitlyn Jenner is Caitlyn Jenner, but he is not a she. He doesn’t have to be Bruce anymore, and he can call himself “she” if it pleases him, but I won’t. He doesn’t have to associate with me if he doesn’t like it (and I wouldn’t blame him). He can hang only with others who will honor his delusion if he so chooses. That’s his right. But his chromosomes, as scientifically clear as anything that ever was, make him a male…end of story.
Don’t you find it odd that someone who has natural antibodies to the disease are at higher risk of difficulty with the vaccine? Don’t you also find it odd that major medical studies make it clear that the vax has no benefit for those who’ve already built up an immune response, and yet the government and press are still pushing the jab on those people?
But there are many, many companies which existed prior to the internet from whom a great deal of loyalty should rightly be expected, because a great deal of loyalty has been paid to them over the years. Some can be cited as particularly egregious examples of crappy decision-making in the age of “woke” because they’ve thrown entire generations of loyal customers under the bus with their incessant drive toward wooing the johnny-come-lately crowd.
Pilgrims didn’t invite Native Americans to sit down and feast with them, but when the Natives showed up the banquet was indeed on. Do we energize the lack of invitation, or the fact that disparate people who throughout time would be at odds broke bread together in celebration and thanks? Europeans didn’t “steal” land; they acquired it over time just as those who were here “first” acquired it from the people who were here “first” before them. Do we lament the supposed theft and base our entire national psyche on that perceived injustice, or do we give thanks for and celebrate the great nation that was born as a result?
Today there’s no great animus toward the people of Germany, but eighty years ago there was, and such a reaction was, in my estimation, absolutely necessary. War is an ugly thing, full of death and destruction and atrocities too difficult to process without a way to justify it in one’s mind. War cannot be prosecuted, no matter how just and necessary, without first making it mentally “okay.”
I promise you, you’ll have the support of the true American public – patriots from shore to shore – if you demand that the President of the United States issue a full and contrite apology. We will also cheer you on for demanding the same from countless others, from the disgraced ex-Governor of New York to Hollywood actors and actresses who abused their platforms to smear you in virtually every conceivable way.
For most of my life I’ve been a great proponent of basic humanity and the practiced understanding and compassion which attends it, but these reckless, dangerous, disingenuous nihilists are simply not entitled to such charity. What they’re entitled to is an orange jumpsuit, a speedy trial, and proper punishment. There is criminality attached to the Rittenhouse prosecution, but it doesn’t involve the teenager who was holding the rifle.
Our “leaders” in Washington apparently do not understand that if someone with sufficient gravitas and the makings of a real organization behind them were to take the stage with a true message of revolution, that revolution will absolutely come to pass. Again, this isn’t a call for it to happen; this is an honest assessment that it’s more than possible – it’s damned likely.
The next part of the real, proper agenda, directly from the American people, has to be decided by us and enforced by us. This is going to require a legitimate strategy, healthy debate, and careful implementation. It has to be done within the confines of the Republican party (trying to go third-party has not worked, and will not work, ever) and it has to reflect a big-tent philosophy with a traditional American bent.
You did everything right – don’t ever doubt that – but the world is trying to do everything wrong right now, and you’re liable to be a victim of that. There isn’t a lot of justice in the American justice system at present. You should easily be found innocent of any charge they attempt to bring against you, but society is leaning into everyone from the judge to the jury on this one.
I’m thrilled Glenn Youngkin won. I’m pleased that much of the country went from (D) to (R), because (D) is evil. I want to join in the chorus that this is somehow the turning of the tide. But I can’t. History and reality say otherwise. More importantly, the promise of tomorrow means nothing when the threat of today is being so universally ignored. What is everyone somehow missing? How can I be the only one seeing this stuff?
Consider that you are so rich the world will bend into a pretzel to gain your “friendship”. Consider that you are so loaded that you can buy people like everyone else buys a cup of coffee. Consider that you have so much money you can spread but a tiny portion of it around and absolutely decide (cheat) an entire American Presidential election.
Information is power. Every powerful person or entity knows this, which is why there’s such a huge push to limit information these days. Look carefully at where that push is coming from, and then consider every bit of information you encounter through that specific lens. In other words, weigh everything – EVERYTHING – based on who is providing or pushing the information you’re being presented with.
The klaxon blares these warning messages for all Americans, but especially those in California and those who still insist on calling themselves “Democrats”.
We are not God. We don’t necessarily have the power to wipe away the threat the way He might, and it’s not really our place to decide the righteousness of others or choose who does/doesn’t deserve some salvation. If you’re a full-faith Christian, you understand implicitly that this is a task reserved for God alone.
Let’s be clear; what occurred Tuesday night is nothing more than a shot across the bow. The pundits, whose job it is to make mountains out of molehills to drive ratings, will throw words like “bellwether” and “death knell” about like firemen tossing candy at a parade. As with all things media, they’re lying. The politicians, too, will spin like dutiful little tops, declaring the “meaning” of Virginia or touting the “message the American people have sent”.
The difference is the venue. This was a Hollywood movie set (in New Mexico), not a standard situation such as you and I might find ourselves in. While Alec Baldwin is an experienced actor with many scenes of gunplay within his resume, he’s very much not a proper “gun guy”. I point that out because it’s paramount to the points made below about Hollywood safety protocols that do exist, and why they exist in the way they do.
Our nation is crumbling. Everything we’ve known, everything we believe in, every part of what it is that makes us American is being purposefully stripped away. We are being systematically robbed of our freedom, denied justice, and lined up in the cattle-car crosshairs with each passing minute. We know it – everyone knows it – but we’re still sitting around allowing it to happen. The world around us at this point is that decayed, aggravated tooth.
Many of us, myself included, view Ashli Babbitt as a hero. I’d like to clarify exactly what that means to me. Ashli, and the J6 political prisoners who remain behind bars with little justification and in absolute disregard of their rights, behaved poorly. They made bad decisions. They executed an ill-advised play that offered far too little upside and far too much chance of something going badly wrong.
Mostly, we have to accept that things will get ugly, maybe very ugly, and we have to prepare to give back just as ugly as we get. For the foreseeable future, that’s almost a certainty. Get yourself and your family ready for the worst. Fix your mind to the fact that life isn’t the same now as it’s ever been for any of us, and it isn’t going to get better anytime soon. It certainly won’t get better if we lay like doormats while Antifa and their puppet-masters roll over us.
What I mean to say is that they’ll be tearing through that should-be-privileged material trying to find communications that prove Trump was complicit in organizing the Capitol breach. Even more exciting to them is the possibility that they may uncover something indicating Trump considered some form of actual insurrection against the illegitimate government that was about to be installed on that day…a real, honest-to-goodness smoking gun.
Joe Manchin gets the Brando treatment, too, and frankly I’ve tried “I could’a been somebody” on him as well. I can make it work. I can see Manchin folding like a flimsy deck chair, taking his one opportunity to truly save the nation and pissing it away just as Pence did. I’ve watched Manchin in politics for forty years, way back to when he was just a statewide row-office candidate.
A City Boy Can (Possibly) Survive: What Happens When The Disaster We’re Heading For Becomes Reality?
If you can make it ten days to two weeks, you’ll be ahead of the curve. At that point you’ll have to leave your shelter and face the music (even if it’s a funeral dirge). This would be the time to start trying to establish contact with others who have similarly survived, and begin planning for your new daily reality.
