We live in a society where sex has been sensationalized, childbirth has been trivialized, and human life has been minimized. Narcissism is applauded, and if babies are inconvenient, abort them. It’s all about you, and your life, young lady. Don’t worry about the precious life within you. Such incidents as these are enabled by such a mindset and are inevitable. The baby was already delivered? So, what? It’s just a baby.
If you’re a California Democrat, money grows on trees, unicorns are the state animal, and John Lennon’s Imagine is your ideological anthem. Reality be damned, and to hell with economists. Naiveté is bliss. But reality isn’t going anywhere; it never does. Reality is going to punch you in the face, and it doesn’t matter how many times you close your eyes, click your heels, and say, “There’s no one like Barack Obama. There’s no one like Barack Obama.”
It is alleged that the developer had written two $10,000 personal checks to Benjamin under the names of relatives with different surnames. According to the indictment, the developer allegedly played the shell game with his relatives’ names to hide any direct connections to the contributions.

Americans admire those who accept responsibility. Tiger Woods has been successful at levels we will almost certainly never see again. Yet Tiger has never played the ‘race card.’ Tiger Woods has been blessed to be born an American, and one with exceptional God-given talents, and he has never tried to portray himself as some sort of victim due to the color of his skin.
His policies resonate with voters from all walks of life, focusing on limited and reasonable government. DeSantis’ handling of COVID and his focus on preserving individual liberties struck a chord nationally, and it illustrated the stark contrast between the conservative approach to the pandemic and the iron-fisted, authoritarian tactics from the left. But what seems to be DeSantis’ biggest asset and the driving force behind his popularity is his style.
So, even though the Administration continues with its COVID scare tactics and refuses to let go of vaccine mandates out of one side of its mouth, from the other side they’re telling us that the COVID crisis has subsided sufficiently to allow potentially infected migrants to cross the border. None of their communications on the topic make any sense, and vulnerable congressional Democrats know it.
Their strategy requires their foot soldiers – aka the mainstream media – to kick off the hostilities by launching airstrikes: floating the basic concepts of a narrative on news broadcasts and opinion pages. Next, accomplices in woke corporate America and academia begin their all-out artillery assaults by parroting the media’s concerted talking points. Then, once defenses have been softened, in comes the left’s infantry, as elected officials across the fruited plain ramp up the rhetoric to a fever pitch.
We have leadership members at the highest levels of BLM engaging in the policing of social media platforms including Facebook. When the group identifies anyone making unfavorable remarks or promoting content critical of BLM, they then flex their muscles by contacting accomplices at the platforms who then shut down those criticisms. And they even go so far as to hire private investigators to go after the naysayers.
Cawthorn’s words were spot on, of course, and with a topic this ridiculous there’s a real benefit to injecting humor into the debate. It helps to expose the insanity. But even more inspiring was his choice to take on this subject in the first place. So many Republicans and self-proclaimed conservatives are reluctant to speak out on a matter that’s so important. They cower in fear of the woke mob and would rather be timid than bold.
We’ve seen it for years: Leftist hypocrisy paying off big. Former Vice-President Al Gore not only won the Nobel Peace Prize for hollering about the imminent doom we’re all facing due to climate change, but he also flew around in private jets and enriched himself with hundreds of millions of dollars in the process.
But it is Joe Biden who is our President. It is Biden who has his proverbial finger on the nuclear button. It is Biden who can wreck our country with the stroke of a pen or a single misstatement on the world stage. And we’re seeing alarming evidence of his senility ever more frequently. Such was the case yesterday with this episode.
The left laments the plight of women impregnated during rape and put forth aborting the resulting child as the solution, while disregarding the consequences for the culprit. They hate the rape but go easy on the rapist. When was the last time you heard a Pro-Abortion activist calling for stricter penalties against rapists?
For every 76-year-old who can pull off this type of resistance, there are many more who would not have been so lucky. Time takes its toll, and the older we get the less capable we are of defending ourselves as this man did. Imagine if this man had failed in his struggle. And imagine if that money was all he had to put food on his table for the week. And imagine if those criminals had been more persistent and more violent, and this man had ended up in the hospital; or worse.
We have a disastrous administration that is failing at virtually every one of its responsibilities, and they’re shooting the messenger? AKA, Jen Psaki? If indeed, Biden’s team is forcing Psaki out the door, such an effort would be akin to a lousy restaurant firing a random waitress because the customers and cuisine critics think their food stinks.
Slavery was a despicable institution and is the ‘original sin’ of the United States. It was awful, and so was Jim Crow. But slavery ended 157 years ago, and Jim Crow ended 58 years ago with the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This reparations scheme isn’t about making up for the sin of slavery, it’s about implementing a far-left agenda. It’s only the “first step” in moving us towards full-blown socialism.
Smith’s smack seems to have had varying levels of impact on those of us who witnessed it. Some of us merely shrugged our shoulders and moved on to something else within moments of seeing the footage. Others chuckled at a couple of memes on social media and maybe even shared a few of them. And still, others couldn’t help but marvel at the clear double standard for Hollywood’s elites compared to the rest of society.
Identity Politics 101: Cori Bush’s Opponent Announces Primary Challenge, And Bush Attacks Within Hours
Ultimately, it won’t matter who is elected or re-elected in Missouri’s first district. It’s going to be a Democrat, no doubt, and that Democrat will be a rubber stamp if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi retains control of the chamber, and a reliable Democrat vote against Republicans if they retake control. But Bush’s retaliation last night is notable for this reason: It illustrates the utter thirst for power that seemingly afflicts all modern Democrats.
The law is about protecting children from leftist indoctrination. It mentions neither the word “gay” nor the word “homosexual,” and merely prohibits public school teachers from teaching about gender identity and sexual orientation to kids in the third grade and younger. It’s not only a wholly appropriate bill, it’s a necessary one. But what really stood out about DeSantis’ signing yesterday was the way in which he did it. The pomp and circumstance of it all.

Maher is not a conservative. But he is a liberal in the classic sense, which means that he adamantly opposes cancel culture and is open to reason. Genuine reason, such as the idea that men are men and women are women, and that those differences aren’t just natural, they’re a good thing. Maher also has a knack for injecting undeniable humor into the points he makes. Such was the case on Friday night.
For those who may not be old to enough to remember, there was a time when Democratic senators actually fulfilled their duties at these hearings by fairly scrutinizing a Supreme Court nominee to confirm his or her worthiness. But Booker’s priority is clearly on him preserving his joy and ensuring Jackson makes it to the bench: qualifications be damned.
But let’s also remember her actions. She was piling on Trump with Avenatti with a clear purpose of getting some of Trump’s money, as is clear by the settlement she signed prior to the 2016 election. She tried to impact Trump’s political career with virtually no evidence. And her rhetoric against Trump and anyone with whom she disagrees has been repugnant.
New Jersey is once again taking their lead from their big brother next door. Last August, disgraced New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law legislation similar to that being proposed in the Garden State. And for New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, anything that happens in Albany is worth duplicating in Trenton.
In countries like the United Kingdom, which didn’t have a thriving cotton industry and therefore had a lesser economic need for slavery, their experiences with slavery ended only a few years before our own. In the UK, for instance, the Slavery Abolition Act freed their slaves in 1834, and for France, slavery didn’t end until the Proclamation of the Abolition of Slavery in the French Colonies fourteen years later in 1848.
