No, the reason why CNN and others are starting to report accurately on the dumpster fire known as the Biden Administration is not that they’ve seen the light and are now practicing journalistic integrity, it’s because they see the writing on the wall. They recognize that their cronies in government are going to lose power if they keep their wagon hitched to Biden.
Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and it is indeed illegal for elected officials to benefit financially from intentionally wielding their influence. And we can smell a lot of smoke coming from Hunter Biden’s direction, and it’s not just from his meth pipe. In the audio, Hunter Biden explains to a potential business partner regarding a business project to market his art:
What if someone had called in to suggest the execution of Barack Obama? Would our friends on the left merely shake their heads as they’re doing today regarding this incident, and chalk up the episode to some not-so-intelligent outlier? Or would they be running around their newsrooms with their hair on fire, calling everyone who doesn’t vote for Democrats a racist, and lamenting the relentless ‘threats to our Democracy?’
This past week we became aware of an attempted assassination by a leftwing activist of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Considering the horror of the recent murders of 19 school children and 2 teachers in Uvalde, Texas, a massacre about which Biden and Democrats have been exceedingly vocal in calling for gun control, one might expect Biden to have been forceful and conspicuous in denouncing the plot against Kavanaugh.
We are constantly bombarded by the ideology. The NHL had been the most conservative of the four major professional sports leagues, but now they are full-blown woke with Pride Month coinciding with their playoffs, and ‘pride’ imagery virtually everywhere you look. We see it on virtually every channel and on every major network, whether through subtle adjustments to a network’s logo or via transgender or drag queen programming. And now, Burger King is injecting their woke, LBGTQ ideology into the very food people eat.
In an age where employers seem to have forgotten who calls the shots, Musk obviously still remembers. While companies such as Disney and Google have been kowtowing to the wokesters in their ranks and doing everything possible not to offend employees, Musk’s approach is refreshing: Sorry gang, the party’s over. Get your asses back to the worksite or find a new job
But that’s not what woke cancel culture is about. It’s not about protecting fragile psyches from being traumatized by harmless jokes. Cancel culture is about power. If you don’t agree with us, we’ll shut you down. We’ll go after your advertisers. We’ll picket in front of your streaming outlet’s headquarters. We’ll silence you, no matter what it takes, First Amendment be damned.
But what’s even more disturbing about the man’s actions is his brazenness. He’s walking casually by Lum and her crew with a firearm on live television and then points it at them without a care in the world. Would such a troubling happening take place in a city that was tough-on-crime? If the man truly feared the repercussions of his actions, would he be so bold as to do what he did on live TV?
Holding elected officials to account isn’t only appropriate, it’s important. That’s why we have elections. But attempting to draw attention to oneself with the obvious intention of gaining a political advantage in an upcoming election less than 24-hours after 21 people were murdered including 19 children is beyond disgraceful. It’s also extremely stupid.
DeSantis again nails it, and we also see his political instincts coming through. Floridians, and Americans, are compassionate, but we’re also sensible, and the left’s stance on transgenderism is beyond incoherent; it’s insane. DeSantis seems to understand that focusing on this issue is a winner for him politically and hammering away at it will only help him. So many Republicans shy away from this subject, but that’s a mistake.
There’s a lot at stake with this lawsuit, in fact, there’s $50 million at stake, which is what Depp is suing Heard for. The suit is based on an Op Ed Heard wrote for the Washington Post accusing Deep of committing domestic violence. Depp has maintained his innocence and claims that Heard’s accusation has destroyed his career.
But Musk is a pragmatist – a brilliant pragmatist – and he understands the need for freedom of speech if a nation is going to thrive. It is that stance, along with his ongoing attempt to take over Twitter and undo their far-left censorship, that has put Musk squarely in the crosshairs of the Democrats and their media. That conflict has now reached a new level with this fascinating recent admission from Musk.
These aren’t professional players, they’re children. And these aren’t professional umpires, they’re doing it part-time because they want to be involved with youth athletics and make a couple of bucks along the way. A guy punches out from his job as a forklift driver, hurries to his car where he has his uniform and equipment waiting in the back seat, and then he rushes to the local field hoping he’s not late. All for a payday that won’t even fill up his gas tank.
Once again Bezos’ comments were on the money. The spending bill Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) courageously rejected in December and then again in February, the bill known as Build Back Better, would have only exacerbated inflation. Significantly. The more money the government spends, the more heated the economy becomes. For an administration to try to spend their way out of an inflation crisis is like a 600-pound man trying to eat his way back to a healthy weight.
Cullors has one person – plus someone helping her film, presumably – knocking at Cullors’ gated property where’ she’s obviously protected, whereas we have Supreme Court justices who are having their lives threatened by scores of angry protesters marching in front of their ungated homes. Are we supposed to pretend that the endangerment of SCOTUS justices is inconsequential whereas the threat to Cullors is urgent?
The family has officially denied all the couple’s accusations, but that hasn’t stopped the dynamic duo. Since their Oprah interview, Harry and Meghan have been willing to repeat their story to anyone who will listen. They also continue to play the charade of not being part of the royal family while simultaneously trying to take advantage of the benefits that royalty brings. It’s all a farce.
With the possible exception of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, there’s no one who is more responsible for the current food crisis than Biden himself. Perhaps that’s why Biden is pretending it doesn’t exist because if he was going to be fired up and start yelling at someone about food shortages, he’d have to go and yell at that old coot in his mirror.
But that’s not the only good news for the governor and first lady. According to Fox News, the governor is also raking in campaign funds. Last month, the DeSantis campaign raised $2.297 million, and Friends of Ron DeSantis, his PAC, has hauled in $8.156 million to total more than $113 million during the current election cycle.
Sprinkled between Biden’s stammers, mispronunciations, and blabbering, there were a few moments of lucidity, and at those points, Biden comes across as vindictive and in denial. He attacks Republicans multiple times and blames Vladimir and COVID for our raging inflation and disastrous economy. And, of course, we had blatant falsehoods coming out of his mouth:
Type in a topic in the “Search” field on Chrome, and which search engine controls the results? The openly leftist Google, of course. With Edge, the search engine is Bing which is owned and operated by Microsoft, which is just as left-leaning as Google. Big Tech is notoriously leftwing, and when we use their browsers and search engines, not only are we subjecting ourselves to consuming their narratives, we’re also putting money in their pockets.
Clowns like Mayor Lightfoot and Democratic Governor J.B. Pritzker will use any possible excuse to shed blame for the problem. COVID is the reason for the violence, they’ll assert. They might accuse some type of racial inequity as the culprit. Or they may even blame inanimate objects such as guns as the reason why people are killing other people.
But safety concerns with electric vehicles are not limited to France. One of the earliest such incidents occurred ten years ago in China when an EV taxi caught fire and three people died. In India last month, the government urged the manufacturers of electric motorcycles to implement voluntary recalls of their vehicles after similar fires and explosions
So, why was Todd sent packing to the minor leagues? What did he do that was so egregious? Todd’s problem was his ratings. CNN and MSNBC are committed to leftist programming to a level that borders on religiousness, and Chuck Todd is one of their top preachers. But ultimately, networks need to make money, and when no one is watching your programs, change is inevitable.
Amazing, isn’t it? It’s almost as if medicines behave according to their own political biases. When medicines that win Nobel Prizes like ivermectin (but that can also treat animals) might threaten government officials’ control over the populace and perhaps diminish their authority for demanding the administration of unproven vaccines, those medicines are inherently dangerous.
While much has been said in opposition to BLM, and their own corruption and duplicity have resulted in a dramatic crash in public opinion for the group, seldom has any been so effective and clever in dismantling their arguments as what we see in this video of a man with a bullhorn addressing a group of protesters at a health care facility:
