You can’t overstate the havoc that we’ll have to live with in the months ahead, short of blowing up the whole joint, one can hope. And it will happen just as a gigantic set of pretenses to a New Order of things rolls out to thumping failure. Forget about central bank digital currencies. Don’t believe that the very people who have severed the relationship between actual capital and money can just magically conjure a new order of money that they propose to control and you don’t.
They were apparently a bit surprised by the strange sight of me painting a picture and they stopped to chat. They were Amish and had lately moved to the county from down in Pennsylvania, which was running out of farmland for their fruitful people. Not a half-hour later a second horse-drawn wagon passed by. I admit, the incident gave me a thrill — not just the sensory pleasure of the horses’ ripe animal smell, and the gentle rhythm of their clip-clopping along.
DeSantis again nails it, and we also see his political instincts coming through. Floridians, and Americans, are compassionate, but we’re also sensible, and the left’s stance on transgenderism is beyond incoherent; it’s insane. DeSantis seems to understand that focusing on this issue is a winner for him politically and hammering away at it will only help him. So many Republicans shy away from this subject, but that’s a mistake.
But it is Joe Biden who is our President. It is Biden who has his proverbial finger on the nuclear button. It is Biden who can wreck our country with the stroke of a pen or a single misstatement on the world stage. And we’re seeing alarming evidence of his senility ever more frequently. Such was the case yesterday with this episode.
The simple fact is that, while Psaki might complain that Florida hasn’t spent enough federal money, the only reason it has spent less than the still online schools in blue states is that it didn’t need the money; Florida’s schools were already open and running well thanks to the strong, guiding hand provided by Governor DeSantis.
suspect the travel was because he came from Scranton and lived in Greenville, a suburb of Wilmington. He was familiar with his surroundings and could tell the time-tested stories of Joe from Scranton or Amtrak Joe. It made him appear genuine to his followers and lazy to his critics. But it worked. It got Joe elected President and Kamala Harris Vice President without ever vetted by the press or facing the public.
The lack of cooperation on the fence leads to my next point. We know that Fentanyl is flowing over the Southern Border. A record amount has been captured, but how much made it through without detection? Anyone’s guess, but Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death in young adults. There have been over 40,000 deaths but Fentanyl overdose in 2021. How many deaths until Biden wakes up and shuts off the flow?
The frightful swans, black, white, and gray, are circling in the sky like those old air-traffic jams above the runways of O’Hare in bad weather. They are looking to land, and as they do, they will change everything. Enough people around the country will finally get their minds right. They will come back to themselves wondering… where have I been?
And while we joke about meteorologists, they’ve gotten pretty good at their jobs. Even if they’re sometimes wrong or slightly off, they’re typically right about the next few days, at least in the temperate clime of the Southeast. Not good enough to predict the climate out for a thousand years, as climate change “scientists” claim is possible, mind you, but good enough to know if going fishing in the afternoon is a good idea.
Has our response to COVID finally stopped the engine? Is what we are experiencing a sign that it is just coasting down now? Forced shutdowns and vaccine mandates are robbing the commerce engine of its most essential element: a workforce with the expertise and dedication to keep it running.
