He’s engaging in an activity to which virtually every one of us can relate. A mundane errand each of us must perform regularly: perhaps once a week, or maybe every other day. But up until the last few years, before our friends on the left continued to push for more liberal policies on crime, and before our naïve friends and neighbors thought it would be a good idea to vote for this increasing insanity, most of us could complete these tasks without fearing for our lives… but not anymore.

In a perfect world for the left and their media, the shooter would have ultimately turned out to be a middle-aged, heterosexual, Christian white man, sporting a MAGA hat and NRA t-shirt. He would have been apprehended while driving a gas-guzzling Ford pick-up with a Pro-Life bumper sticker, and Ben Shapiro’s podcast would have been blaring from the vehicle’s stereo. We can practically see media members writhing in ecstasy at such a prospect.

Time takes its toll, and the older we get the less capable we are of defending ourselves as this man did. Imagine if this man had failed in his struggle. And imagine if those criminals had been more persistent and more violent, and this man had ended up in the hospital; or worse.
