In countries like the United Kingdom, which didn’t have a thriving cotton industry and therefore had a lesser economic need for slavery, their experiences with slavery ended only a few years before our own. In the UK, for instance, the Slavery Abolition Act freed their slaves in 1834, and for France, slavery didn’t end until the Proclamation of the Abolition of Slavery in the French Colonies fourteen years later in 1848.

This is a perfect example of how CRT has infiltrated our schools and is indoctrinating our children. Parents, wake up! You need to be vocal about your opposition to these standards and demand that your legislators do something about it. Our children are the future, and we need to make sure they are given a chance to grow up in a country where everyone is treated equally, regardless of skin color or ethnicity.
When parents send their children off to school, they have a lot on their plate. For six hours every day over ten months out of the year (sometimes longer), moms and dads cede control over to teachers who are teaching lessons shaped by recent controversies. Some lessons were reported by parents and teachers that children were being taught CRT (Critical Race Theory) Educators have been exposed for teaching and promoting social justice & equity propaganda. Parents took their concerns about these lessons to their local school boards and were lied to or worse arrested.
Leftists believe that they, not parents, should be the ones instilling values in our nation’s children. If a father explains to his daughter that girls are girls and boys are boys, that’s problematic and must be stopped. If a mother teaches her son that God wants him to wait until marriage to have sex, and that marriage should be to a woman, such talk is homophobic and bigoted in their view. But this is a losing battle for the left, and a winning one for the right.
It reminds me of what in Philosophical Logic is known as the “Argument of the Beard,” which asks: How many hairs does it take to make a beard. If someone answers 500, the next question becomes: But how about 499? That’s only one hair’s difference. Why can’t that be a beard? If you allow it, then why not 498, and on and on. So how many boxes need to be checked to lead a fully privileged life?
Which party advocated racial segregation? That would again be the Democrats. In fact, segregationist southern Democrats even had their own club which they called the Dixiecrats – harkening back to the antebellum glory days of the south. The Dixiecrats were racist – and proud of it. George Wallace famously said, “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.” He was the Governor of Alabama – also a Democrat.
To overthrow a capitalist society, The Communist Manifesto calls for inciting a titanic class struggle by pitting a victim class against an oppressor class. In the bloody Russian Revolution of 1917, the Bolsheviks rose to power by pitting the proletariat against the bourgeois. Over the last half-century, the post-1960s Democratic Party has refined the concept of Marxist/Leninist class struggle into a potent political weapon known as “identity politics.”
Ultimately, CRT will fall of its own accord because of discordant facts and because of its internal incoherence, as has already happened to Marxism. In the meantime, though, it is used as an ideological hammer to re-shape people’s – and school kids’ – idea of society and of what constitutes justice.
Run for positions on the local school board. Turnout for school board elections is notoriously low and elections are often decided by just a few hundred votes. The teacher’s unions have gotten used to the fact that they can control these elections by simply getting a good turnout of educators at the polls. Imagine their surprise if an enterprising parent leverages their neighborhood, church, and social network connections to get out the vote in favor of an alternative candidate.
Much like America, if one is going to falsely point out that 750,000 mostly white confederate soldiers allegedly fought to maintain slavery then you must also recognize that 2.1 million mostly white union soldiers fought to end it. Unless I am mistaken, there was only one successful slave revolt in the entire history of the world.
The fighting will continue for a while, but the left has already lost the CRT battle. But will the fighting stop with CRT? Will parents simply stand down once CRT has been banned? Or has CRT inoculated the populace against leftism? Now that parents realize the schools have been indoctrinating their kids, will they remain vigilant for other forms of indoctrination?
In Madison, Wisconsin, leftists have just declared a rock to be racist. It wasn’t adorned with any inscription. There was nothing racist about its name. But it had to be removed because its very presence on campus was offensive. Even an unthinking, inanimate object became racist because of something someone said about it in a newspaper article almost 100 years ago.
Those who have been indoctrinated in all things leftist, instead of educated, have become a growing flock of sheep in America who are willing to surrender real freedoms for illusory government guarantees of comfort, security, and faux happiness sans rules and morality.
Would my son have made such generous concessions if his cantankerous white tenant bought the condo? Not in a million years. He would have judged that tenant by the same standard he judged Marie: the content of her character and nothing else. A racist home seller would not voluntarily give thousands of dollars to a black purchaser.
Republicans are now unquestionably the party of the working man. Labor unions continue to back the Democrats, but their members are definitely switching sides — and the election results prove it. After decades of losing jobs to bad trade deals negotiated by their so-called advocates, they’re realizing that they were played for patsies.
Critical race theory is deeply entrenched in public school districts across America, so much so that dislodging it will take a Herculean effort. Those of us who understand the enormity of what’s at stake have a duty to do everything in our power to eradicate CRT.
