The Republicans may talk a better game and be more in tune with the people, but they still stray. The Democrats, however, are a lost cause. They not only chase the money but have aspirations to transform America fundamentally. They have no love of this country or the capitalism that this country was built on. Unless they are in Congress or a lobbyist, they despise the wealthy and see them only as tax cows.
Americans have been looking for the right politicians to lead us. But we’ve been looking in the wrong place. The right people to run America were never professional politicians. The right people have always been working Americans – albeit with some political skills. Politicians are good at pontificating about things they know little about. Working Americans know how to make things work.
The Democrats may be turning to the most improbable individual to be their closer. In this case, it would be an unproven rookie to take the ball. There are two outs, top of the ninth, home team is up by one, and the call goes out for Pete Buttigieg, Mayor Pete, Mom. You cannot make this stuff up. If I had suggested this lunacy a month ago, my blog would have been shut down. That is how desperate the Democrats are three years out from the election.
His participation in the “Saturday Night Massacre” during the whole Watergate saga was explained in a rational way to show the danger facing the Justice Dept. Though hesitant to fire Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox and saying he would quit were he to do so, he eventually acceded to requests from Attorney General Elliot Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus. He did so to save the Justice Dept. and the country.
I’m thrilled Glenn Youngkin won. I’m pleased that much of the country went from (D) to (R), because (D) is evil. I want to join in the chorus that this is somehow the turning of the tide. But I can’t. History and reality say otherwise. More importantly, the promise of tomorrow means nothing when the threat of today is being so universally ignored. What is everyone somehow missing? How can I be the only one seeing this stuff?
The klaxon blares these warning messages for all Americans, but especially those in California and those who still insist on calling themselves “Democrats”.
Nothing is free except for the air around us and the water in the oceans that divide us. When a politician claims that a provision in a bill is free, what they mean is that there is no cost for the user, but the burden to pay for the benefit for one is someone higher on the economic ladder. Free works until you run out of people to pay the bill.
Mostly, we have to accept that things will get ugly, maybe very ugly, and we have to prepare to give back just as ugly as we get. For the foreseeable future, that’s almost a certainty. Get yourself and your family ready for the worst. Fix your mind to the fact that life isn’t the same now as it’s ever been for any of us, and it isn’t going to get better anytime soon. It certainly won’t get better if we lay like doormats while Antifa and their puppet-masters roll over us.
Once sub-standard teachers have tenure, a Herculean effort is required to get rid of them. The teachers-first, children-second pecking order in the school systems cited below exists in virtually every urban Democrat-run district in America, where a king’s ransom of precious educational funding is frittered away to protect bad teachers.
What I mean to say is that they’ll be tearing through that should-be-privileged material trying to find communications that prove Trump was complicit in organizing the Capitol breach. Even more exciting to them is the possibility that they may uncover something indicating Trump considered some form of actual insurrection against the illegitimate government that was about to be installed on that day…a real, honest-to-goodness smoking gun.
One thing is quite clear. The Biden team is on the defense. Nothing is working for them, and it is proving how ill-prepared they were to assume control of this country. Biden’s promise to unite the country was hollow, and if anything, we are more divided. As we head into the winter months, I fear for the country with the supply chain still broken and home heating adding to our “transitory inflation.”
They have morphed from the Party of the People to the Party Over the People. They are no longer the party that supports unions. For now, they are the party that is controlled by the unions. This transition is very sad to observe. Most of our parents grew up supporting the party of JFK. If JFK were alive today, he would not recognize the New Democrat Party.
The values of the majority of the nation have been ignored as “common” during the international scramble for control of world economics. This concentration of funds has allowed the societal foundation of the country to be undermined throughout our history.
The current plague of violence is impacting the black community at a dramatically higher rate than other ethnic groups, with over 85% of all homicide victims last year being black folks, even though they make up only 44% of the population. If black lives truly matter, why hasn’t Black Lives Matter descended on Philadelphia to help put a stop to this massacre?
Instead, he endlessly attacked his enemies, constantly fought for the common man, and did everything in his power to make America better off. He implemented tariffs to protect America industry, slapped down disastrous trade policies, and never gave in to the radical left on culture war issues. The RINOs never had the cajones to do any of that.
Joe Biden wants us to believe that Facebook is responsible for “killing people” by allowing Wuhan Virus and vaccine “misinformation” on its platform. This is, of course, yet another lie from today’s leader of the Democrat Party. However, when it comes to death and misinformation, Joe Biden should know of what he speaks.
In this installment of our weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative review six policies and narratives supported by Democrats that do irreparably more harm than good for blacks, even though the latter still vote 90-95% consistently for the former.
In this installment of our Sunday Six weekly conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative examine six inane positions currently embraced by Democrats, and the appropriate reaction for Republicans.
Shouldn’t any field called “political science,” have laws rather like those of physics that accurately model behavior? I’d like to propose an alternative set of political laws.
Presidents and congresspersons take an oath to uphold the Constitution. They have willingly subverted it and that is evil.
Ultimately, Democrats need bad news for their strategies to work, and the worse the news is the more Democrats like it. A full blown crisis is the best news possible for Democrats.
If you’re a resident of New York or California, however, and if you vote Democrat every November without giving the decision a second thought like so many do, you’ve got no one to blame but yourselves.
As my friends complain, I keep reminding them that this is what they asked for. They’re beginning to realize they helped create this mess and they’re feeling a bit like that guy that gave the Nigerian prince $1,000 — embarrassed!
When did politicians and federal employees start calling themselves “public servants”? Even more importantly, why are we letting them?
