But Liz Cheney has now lifted the veil. She’s not some principled, well-intentioned conservative who loves the Republican Party but simply has a problem with one key member. She’s not merely an establishment candidate who has an issue with Trump and is fine with everyone else. Based on comments from an interview published yesterday, Liz Cheney has a problem with both Trump and the second-most popular Republican in the country.
Now the Left seeks to render him ineligible for future office. They have warped and distorted and subverted and undermined the integrity of our Congress, our courts, our military, and our system of justice in their desperate attempts to prevent Trump from ever representing our cause again. They think that if they can block Trump, they can keep us from thwarting their perverse agendas and that they can retain the power they have usurped.
Trump never said that there were good white supremacists at Charlottesville, a fact that even Jake Tapper, who is not fond of Trump, acknowledges. Trump never asked the Georgia Secretary of State to fabricate votes for him in the 2020 election. Trump made clear in that phone call that he only wanted the Georgia Secretary of State to find the legal votes that he believed were out there, etc.
You could argue that our “betters” in the anti-liberty left are trying to destroy the country, or perhaps they are completely incompetent. Even the totally incompetent would have occasional success, so we’re thinking it’s the former. Either way, we need to change back to leadership that works, and we need it as soon as possible.
What if someone had called in to suggest the execution of Barack Obama? Would our friends on the left merely shake their heads as they’re doing today regarding this incident, and chalk up the episode to some not-so-intelligent outlier? Or would they be running around their newsrooms with their hair on fire, calling everyone who doesn’t vote for Democrats a racist, and lamenting the relentless ‘threats to our Democracy?’
Kinzinger has already announced he’s retiring from Congress at the end of the year, and that was a really good call by the Congressman. After the nonsense he’s pulled over the past year, he couldn’t get elected as a Republican if he ran for dog catcher. And consistent with his aforementioned self-righteousness and the delusion he displayed talking with the Huffington Post, he’s been hinting that he might run for governor or the U.S. Senate as well.
Virtually all of Hollywood and most of the music industry leans left, politically. Pick a genre outside of country music, and you can probably count the number of openly conservative performers on one hand, though there are likely many more who are in the closet. One such unapologetic conservative star is the incomparable Kid Rock, who showed his in-your-face “I’m a conservative and I don’t care what you think” approach at a recent concert.
