In an age where employers seem to have forgotten who calls the shots, Musk obviously still remembers. While companies such as Disney and Google have been kowtowing to the wokesters in their ranks and doing everything possible not to offend employees, Musk’s approach is refreshing: Sorry gang, the party’s over. Get your asses back to the worksite or find a new job
But Musk is a pragmatist – a brilliant pragmatist – and he understands the need for freedom of speech if a nation is going to thrive. It is that stance, along with his ongoing attempt to take over Twitter and undo their far-left censorship, that has put Musk squarely in the crosshairs of the Democrats and their media. That conflict has now reached a new level with this fascinating recent admission from Musk.
When it was announced last month that the Musk buyout deal to acquire Twitter was approved, many of us on the right rejoiced. Finally, some sanity amongst the Big Tech giants, we thought, as we considered the impact that such a deal would have on free speech and the reprehensible censorship of conservatives. But Musk’s announcement on Friday is significant, and it makes us wonder.
Now, I don’t care about Kilmeade or his historical inaccuracies and resulting histrionics that would have made good B movie children’s fare in the 1950s. He is only one of many who cheat or are simply ignorant, at a historical presentation by omitting basic facts or not knowing them in the first place. And though Kilmeade is primarily a sports contributor and humorist he is hardly schooled in history.
Indeed, we the people can fight for ourselves by building communities from the bottom-up that demonstrate self-reliance and self-motivation. In many cases, the utilization of modern technology can also enhance productivity and efficiency, whether we’re running in-person or remote homeschooling programs or reaching out to and connecting with like-minded patriots.
And that might be why Cuban is so adamant that Musk is getting into this spat with Twitter for selfish reasons rather than ones related to free speech. Musk, a free speech absolutist, seems to want to defend speech on the platform. Cuban, worth far less money and, based on the national anthem incident, not all that into America, must just not be able to understand that.
Mighty forces are marshaling to prevent Elon Musk from buying up Twitter stock and taking the company private. BlackRock, Vanguard, the prince regent of Saudi Arabia are all principal stockholders in Twitter, with gazillions in capital to theoretically match and overcome Mr. Musk’s moves. Meanwhile, the Tesla boss maintains a prankish self-confidence in this exploit, offering cryptically comic gibes to a news media that is openly vested in opposing him.
Right Over Their Heads! Elon Musk Trolls Twitter On Their Own Platform, And the Left Totally Misses It
And the serious reactions to the not-so-serious tweet weren’t just limited to Twitter. The leftwing media fell for Musk’s trolling as well. Consider this headline from The Street, “Musk Has an Original Idea to Solve The Homeless Crisis in San Francisco.” Or this one from Business Insider, “Elon Musk floated the idea of turning Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters into a homeless shelter.” Well done, Elon, well done.
While the Religious Zealots of the world may not ‘approve’ of Musk given he hasn’t led the perfectionist lifestyle they presuppose is the most important requisite to a leader, as in the John Pipers who couldn’t get past Trump’s marriages, their denunciation has become a largess bane of the demise of America!
What makes Elon Must great is that he’s independent and bows to no one. He’s a living version of the American Creed and American Dream.
