How obvious that the freedom of speech is what made the pushback possible, for if the First Amendment were completely dead, we would never have seen the commentary of the embarrassing hearings or the Mary Poppins video. This brazen attack on the first of our Bill of Rights would have just happened, probably by executive order.
The only way to challenge and expose an ill-conceived idea is to break down and dispute that very idea with reasoning and then offer a superior alternative. It will be problematic to dissolve such ideas by pushing them into the midst of the dark web or online forums such as 4Chan or 8Chan. In other words, censorship will merely add more oxygen to these ideas, and they will continue to grow.
It’s one thing to lose your dignity as citizens, and another to just lose your country altogether, and that is the circle of hell that the Left has dragged everyone else into since even before Hillary Clinton booted the 2016 election. This tyrannical Maoist managerial mob, grown paradoxically rich beyond precedent, became a tool of the state itself working around the inconvenient first amendment to hog-tie public debate. Will the US government allow Mr. Musk to get away with liberating the new “public square?”
The problem today is that there is not enough time for a citizen to follow all of the political currents and corruption that is rampant within a morally and intellectually bankrupt ruling cabal. I imagine that many ordinary citizens have forgotten how many Amendments were approved in the initial bill of rights, much less what they are, and how they have been destroyed.
Facts Matter, Unless They’re Bad For Joe Biden: New Analysis By Big Tech Watchdog Exposes Mass Hypocrisy
Yet as bad as this analysis looks for Big Tech – and for our freedom of speech as a result – the picture looks even more bleak when we consider the context. MRC’s analysis only took into consideration the censorship of material relating to Joe Biden. What would those numbers look like if they included criticisms of Vice-President Kamala Harris? And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi? And Senate Leader Chuck Schumer?
Indeed, we the people can fight for ourselves by building communities from the bottom-up that demonstrate self-reliance and self-motivation. In many cases, the utilization of modern technology can also enhance productivity and efficiency, whether we’re running in-person or remote homeschooling programs or reaching out to and connecting with like-minded patriots.
Mighty forces are marshaling to prevent Elon Musk from buying up Twitter stock and taking the company private. BlackRock, Vanguard, the prince regent of Saudi Arabia are all principal stockholders in Twitter, with gazillions in capital to theoretically match and overcome Mr. Musk’s moves. Meanwhile, the Tesla boss maintains a prankish self-confidence in this exploit, offering cryptically comic gibes to a news media that is openly vested in opposing him.
Under Gov. Inslee’s proposed law, it would be a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $5,000 fine, 364 days in jail, and removal from office for any official to question the outcome of any election both local and statewide. Jay Inslee believes that by passing this law, events like what happened at Washington D.C. on January 6th, 2021, would be curtailed in Washington State. Which begs the question; why would Governor Inslee believe that something like January 6th would happen in Washington State?
Hillary, and indeed most Democrats, don’t believe you are intelligent enough to process what you see and hear in the news. You’re not bright enough to make up your minds for yourselves. You need a gatekeeper to “help” you. You need some to provide “perspective” to make sure you come to the proper conclusions. You need an authoritarian to ensure your opinions align with Hillary’s opinions, because if you don’t, then you have the wrong opinion. And Hillary can’t have that.
It’s one thing for children to stick their fingers in their ears when they don’t want to hear unpleasant opinions and information, but it’s quite another for grown-up billionaires to force silence on those with whom they disagree.
