Climate Alarmists, Fauci, And The Rest – There’s An Ill Wind Blowing, And America’s Tyrants Are In Trouble

Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) vowed to block all efforts to ban gas-powered vehicles in Virginia. His declaration comes after California’s Air Resources Board voted Thursday to implement an executive order by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) that phases out gas-powered vehicles and bans the sale of them beginning in 2035. Virginia passed a law in 2021 that set the Commonwealth on a path to adopt California’s emissions standards. “In an effort to turn Virginia into California, liberal politicians who previously ran our government sold Virginia out by subjecting Virginia drivers to California vehicle laws,” Youngkin wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. “Now, under that pact, Virginians will be forced to adopt the California law that prohibits the sale of gas and diesel-fueled vehicles.

From Blue To Red: New Virginia Gov. Youngkin Signs 9 Executive Orders On Day One

As promised during the campaign and in his victory speech, now Governor Youngkin went right to work day one signing nine Executive Orders and two Executive Directives at the Virginia State Capitol. The actions include an executive order ending the use of inherently divisive concepts – including Critical Race Theory – in public education, an executive order affirming the rights of parents to make decisions on masks in schools, and an executive order terminating the Virginia Parole Board and requesting the Attorney General begin a full investigation of the Board’s actions.

Virginia Is But A Baby Step, And It’s Not Enough

Let’s be clear; what occurred Tuesday night is nothing more than a shot across the bow. The pundits, whose job it is to make mountains out of molehills to drive ratings, will throw words like “bellwether” and “death knell” about like firemen tossing candy at a parade. As with all things media, they’re lying. The politicians, too, will spin like dutiful little tops, declaring the “meaning” of Virginia or touting the “message the American people have sent”.
