In an article titled, “Omicron wave prompts media to rethink which data to report,” the AP cited COVID case counts and hospitalizations as “barometers of the pandemic’s march across the world” but that the latest surge “is making a mess of the usual statistics, forcing news organizations to rethink the way they report such figures.”
Jeffrey Epstein, and by extension Ghislaine Maxwell, cavorted with some of the most influential men in the world, and the majority of those men either align with leftist ideals or outright represent them. And while they were doing so, Epstein and perhaps his fellow cavorters were having sex with children. In the case of Jussie Smollett, the saga that has evolved this last year has been more of a comedy than the drama Smollett had written and acted out. Every facet of this case proved the hoax that Smollett attempted to perpetrate on the American public. In an almost smug disregard for the truth and the common sense of everyone familiar with the case, he insisted on defending his innocence.
Former Empire actor Jussie Smollett should have complied with The First Rule of Holes, which states: “When you’re in one, stop digging.” And while there are many reasons to honor Mr. Smollett as this week’s top knucklehead, it is his insistence on ignoring reality which we cite as the top rationale.
Which Alec Baldwin are we to believe? The one who was seen doubled over after the incident and told us he had PTSD from the trauma of shooting and killing Hutchins? Or the one who now says he has no feelings of guilt and hopes we can discover the person responsible? Neither is believable. We need to rely on the facts and the testimony of those who witnessed the tragic shooting.

Biden and Harris are suffering from plummeting approval ratings. That is bad enough but throw in the leaks about infighting and a growing divide between POTUS and the VEEP. The latter is why the sit-down happened this week with George and Kamala. There have been numerous leaks from the Vice President’s staff with the same story of discontent and division. These leaks are not a situation of a disgruntled individual trying to level a score.
You did everything right – don’t ever doubt that – but the world is trying to do everything wrong right now, and you’re liable to be a victim of that. There isn’t a lot of justice in the American justice system at present. You should easily be found innocent of any charge they attempt to bring against you, but society is leaning into everyone from the judge to the jury on this one.
The problem with Biden chiming in is twofold. Being the President, even a senile incompetent President, his words carry weight. His ardent followers will believe it without question. They will not formulate their own opinion based on facts as that takes too much work. The other is the fodder it supplies for the Mainstream Media. They will use the President’s comments as the talking points for the “news” cycle.
So, who would be more adept at deceit, and at pretending to be feeling something they were not? The part-time, high-school aged lifeguard? Or the clinically trained psychologist who is not only an expert on human behavior, but teaches that subject to college students and conducts research on such matters at one of the top universities in the country, Stanford University? You don’t need a PhD to answer that one correctly.
Consider two news reports of a recent protest and resultant police action/mini riot on the Boston Commons; one from the mainstream Channel 10 NBC Boston and the other the conservative outlet Blaze Media News. According to Channel 10, “A rally against the coronavirus safety measures of masks and vaccines on Boston Common Sunday attracted dozens of protesters and about twice as many counter-protesters.” Whereas Blaze reported, “Antifa targeted a vaccine mandate protest in Boston Common on Sunday.”
The absolute truth takes far too much effort to uncover, so they use their truth that fits the narrative. Talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, and the three major broadcast networks won awards for their reporting of the Russia Hoax and the Steele Dossier. They are about as valuable as the Emmy awarded to Andrew Cuomo. They are bogus, self-serving awards given to charlatans for reporting on fictional stories. Today, the government lies, and the media nods and makes it their truth, as long as it beats down the Right.
So when the teacher, the boss, our peers tell us the Authorities, the Government have mandated masks, social distancing, the jab, close your business, stay inside – no school, no church, no parties, no weddings, no funerals – we comply because we’ve been taught lies. We know lies. We love lies. Unquestioning compliance, obedience; agreement is the only option. Contradiction is ignorance and ignorance leads to hate.
The Media is our Teacher. It’s the whole world’s teacher. Everything we learn, we learn from the Media. With screens, cameras, actors and glib, well-coiffed hosts, radio and TV signals, cable, microwave, publishing, the all-powerful Internet with its own ‘social media’, it instructs us hourly, daily, weekly, month in, year out. The classroom is anywhere; it’s ubiquitous.
Biden, Harris, and all the Democrats are playing a serious game. They are hoping to slide through transformative legislation while they have the power to do so. They know the clock is clicking down to 2022, and all indications are a change to Republican control of the House and possibly the Senate. The only way they can pull this off is darkness. Darkness is half the country being unaware of what is happening.
The MSM is leaning more towards the AOCs of Washington than Joe Manchin. They should not be leaning either way. They should be blind to politics and call it straight. Can we get back on track? Maybe, but it will take the dollars of the free market to force the pendulum back to the middle.
A few moments of channel hopping various news broadcasts yesterday evening yielded the same results, with virtually all of them touching on Trump in some way or another, and the same with print newspapers and their websites. If we didn’t know any better by the amount of attention he gets, one could swear Trump was still in the White House and Biden was wandering around a dog track somewhere trying to place a bet on a race from last week.
Consider Williams: He was suspended from NBC Nightly News in 2015 after telling the lie that his helicopter was forced down by enemy fire over Iraq in 2003 (my, he’s almost as brave as an Antifa fascist fighter!). He later was “demoted” to MSNBC.
Journalistic principles were disregarded, activists disguised as journalists helped prop up Lee’s lie as they promoted their America-is-bad narrative, and once again our mainstream media’s credibility has been severely damaged. These people are simply terrible at what they do.
It has been called the lie that won’t die: that most mass shooters are white. People believe it, too, with carnage committed by whites, such as the Georgia massage-parlor shootings, getting front-page treatment.
In this installment of our weekly conversation, The Blue State Conservative considers the complete evaporation of the mainstream media’s credibility in the wake of CNN’s handling of Chris Cuomo’s reporting on his brother Andrew’s ongoing scandals.
We’re in a culture war that’s just beginning to heat up, and we should act accordingly. And while our opponents may have a massive head start on us, that gap is ripe with opportunity for conservative businesses to fill the subsequent voids.
The only way for citizens in a republic to hold their elected officials accountable is at the ballot box. Do a good job with integrity and you get reelected. Do a lousy job or engage in corruption and you get voted out. That answerability is the most critical aspect of our form of government, and an honest media that accurately reports the facts regarding those who would be elected is arguably the most important player in the electoral process.
Forget that tens of thousands have died due to Cuomo’s utter incompetence with COVID, and forget that he’s an overall lousy governor; Cuomo is unassailable. If indisputable evidence were to come out tomorrow proving Cuomo barbecues puppies and prefers them medium-rare and served with hollandaise sauce, the mainstream media would simply shrug their shoulders and ignore it.
