Now the Left seeks to render him ineligible for future office. They have warped and distorted and subverted and undermined the integrity of our Congress, our courts, our military, and our system of justice in their desperate attempts to prevent Trump from ever representing our cause again. They think that if they can block Trump, they can keep us from thwarting their perverse agendas and that they can retain the power they have usurped.
So those of us who see that Rome is burning, and that it is all INTENTIONAL, and that Biden and his cabal are malicious actors hiding behind social justice and climate facades, must resist in every way we can, reaching deep within us for courage and pride. We cannot live under a regime that invokes a two-tiered justice system while destroying the moral authority, sovereignty, military and economic strength, educational excellence, and the fabric of American society.
That complete authority that Hillary so intensely desires was so close in 2016. She was right there. Now Hillary’s got a floundering president in Biden and an incredibly weak stable of options for her party to choose from. She may well determine that now, finally, is her time. And if that is indeed the course of action Hillary Clinton and the Democrats decide to take, conservatives and Republicans should be doing cartwheels.
Trump never said that there were good white supremacists at Charlottesville, a fact that even Jake Tapper, who is not fond of Trump, acknowledges. Trump never asked the Georgia Secretary of State to fabricate votes for him in the 2020 election. Trump made clear in that phone call that he only wanted the Georgia Secretary of State to find the legal votes that he believed were out there, etc.
Regardless of its impact, this story means that when Biden recently said that “this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history, in recent American history,” he likely made that claim in part out of a focus-group-tested poll that said the best way to get liberals to view their fellow Americans in a negative light is to call them “MAGA.”
In fact, photodynamic therapy has been used effectively to treat Covid and other viral diseases. Further, a research team led by Mark Pimentel, M.D. at Ceder Sinai Hospital is conducting research on a UV light therapy called “Healight” that appears to show that delivering ultraviolet light through an endotracheal catheter yields positive results in treating various respiratory infections including Covid.
Kinzinger has already announced he’s retiring from Congress at the end of the year, and that was a really good call by the Congressman. After the nonsense he’s pulled over the past year, he couldn’t get elected as a Republican if he ran for dog catcher. And consistent with his aforementioned self-righteousness and the delusion he displayed talking with the Huffington Post, he’s been hinting that he might run for governor or the U.S. Senate as well.
Virtually all of Hollywood and most of the music industry leans left, politically. Pick a genre outside of country music, and you can probably count the number of openly conservative performers on one hand, though there are likely many more who are in the closet. One such unapologetic conservative star is the incomparable Kid Rock, who showed his in-your-face “I’m a conservative and I don’t care what you think” approach at a recent concert.
But let’s also remember her actions. She was piling on Trump with Avenatti with a clear purpose of getting some of Trump’s money, as is clear by the settlement she signed prior to the 2016 election. She tried to impact Trump’s political career with virtually no evidence. And her rhetoric against Trump and anyone with whom she disagrees has been repugnant.
I suppose my biggest failure is the only one the leftists think was my biggest success—the production of the COVID-19 vaccines. I thought I was doing the right thing; after all, the federal health experts said it was right. We have been told for decades that vaccines are why Americans are so healthy, and I did not expect the “experts” to produce vaccines that are unsafe and ineffective.
At present, I am very impressed with Ron DeSantis in Florida. He takes no guff from the media, giving at least as good as he gets, and often giving a good deal more. He has managed the improbabilities of the COVID pandemic about as well as any governor in the country, and his actions as chief executive in Florida demonstrates a clear preference for individual liberty for citizens confronted with governmental power and arrogance.
On the other side is DeSantis, who is calmer and more focused than Trump, but hasn’t had as much time to prove himself an enemy of the elites and show that he’ll fight in the sort of savage, no holds barred style that Trump does. Additionally, many on the MAGA-right are worried that DeSantis has neo-con sympathies and are disturbed by the fact that the never-Trumper, Bill Kristol crowd supports him.
According to the survey, Trump is the favorite of the majority of the GOP, with 53% of Republican voters choosing him as their first choice. That’s a massive win, as it’s 40 points more than the closest runner-up, Ron DeSantis, who came in with 13% support. And DeSantis, who’s much like Trump in terms of major policy goals, was the only other candidate who was able to garner double-digit support. The others, when compared to Trump and DeSantis, couldn’t even do that.
A head-to-head battle between these two is so monumentally foolish for both of them, and for the country. I am hopeful that the wiser leaders of the party, as well as the advisers to these participants themselves, find a way to convince both men that for the immediate future it is important that they find ways to not only NOT butt heads but to actually get along and work together. In combination, the two of them are absolutely unbeatable. Put Hillary and Michelle together on the same ticket and I don’t think they could sidetrack a Trump/DeSantis super train.
But real America couldn’t care less. It loves Trump’s style, his fighting spirit, his energy, and his inner determination. Whatever the personal cost, they want America to succeed and would do anything to get there. A percentage point or two of GDP don’t matter if it means crushing China. Higher prices don’t matter if it means the return of factories to America.
Trump became wealthy in one of the toughest real estate markets in the world, so I can understand why he developed the habit of striking back at critics with razor-sharp elbows. But winning the hearts and minds of undecided voters is an entirely different game that requires a far higher level of finesse.
With that said, I loved what Trump was doing with the China Trade Imbalance and NATO, as well as his strong support for America’s National Defense and putting America’s enemies on notice; and in the process, he also was working to make the world safer by reaching out to Putin, much to the chagrin of the Democrats and the Military Industrial Complex, as he also started the process to withdraw us from Afghanistan.
