When it was announced last month that the Musk buyout deal to acquire Twitter was approved, many of us on the right rejoiced. Finally, some sanity amongst the Big Tech giants, we thought, as we considered the impact that such a deal would have on free speech and the reprehensible censorship of conservatives. But Musk’s announcement on Friday is significant, and it makes us wonder.
It’s one thing to lose your dignity as citizens, and another to just lose your country altogether, and that is the circle of hell that the Left has dragged everyone else into since even before Hillary Clinton booted the 2016 election. This tyrannical Maoist managerial mob, grown paradoxically rich beyond precedent, became a tool of the state itself working around the inconvenient first amendment to hog-tie public debate. Will the US government allow Mr. Musk to get away with liberating the new “public square?”
High and increasing prices for food, gas, housing, and nearly everything else, massive illegal immigration that is only getting worse, vaccination and mask mandates, destruction of our military, support for the Taliban and Iran, and so many other destructive acts have turned even some of their strongest supporters against them. One is inclined to attribute it all to massive stupidity and incompetence, but what if it’s not?
Indeed, we the people can fight for ourselves by building communities from the bottom-up that demonstrate self-reliance and self-motivation. In many cases, the utilization of modern technology can also enhance productivity and efficiency, whether we’re running in-person or remote homeschooling programs or reaching out to and connecting with like-minded patriots.
Will Freefalling CNN Leave Their Leftism Behind? This Pledge From Incoming CEO Could Indicate Moderation
To fully appreciate this commitment from Licht, we need to first grasp the role Twitter plays in the mindset of leftwing journalism. Twitter isn’t merely the soapbox they stand on to have their voices heard, Twitter is where they go for affirmation. Twitter is the platform they use to ensure they’re properly aligned with the rest of the mind-numbed leftwing robots and talking heads and to make sure they’re properly regurgitating the Democratic Party’s talking points.
And that might be why Cuban is so adamant that Musk is getting into this spat with Twitter for selfish reasons rather than ones related to free speech. Musk, a free speech absolutist, seems to want to defend speech on the platform. Cuban, worth far less money and, based on the national anthem incident, not all that into America, must just not be able to understand that.
Mighty forces are marshaling to prevent Elon Musk from buying up Twitter stock and taking the company private. BlackRock, Vanguard, the prince regent of Saudi Arabia are all principal stockholders in Twitter, with gazillions in capital to theoretically match and overcome Mr. Musk’s moves. Meanwhile, the Tesla boss maintains a prankish self-confidence in this exploit, offering cryptically comic gibes to a news media that is openly vested in opposing him.
Right Over Their Heads! Elon Musk Trolls Twitter On Their Own Platform, And the Left Totally Misses It
And the serious reactions to the not-so-serious tweet weren’t just limited to Twitter. The leftwing media fell for Musk’s trolling as well. Consider this headline from The Street, “Musk Has an Original Idea to Solve The Homeless Crisis in San Francisco.” Or this one from Business Insider, “Elon Musk floated the idea of turning Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters into a homeless shelter.” Well done, Elon, well done.
I’d sent the Twitter twits a link to my first article, in which I also called them Twitter twits, which probably didn’t exactly endear them to me. I also wrote in reference to my possibly deleting the tweet that this will never, ever happen. The Twitter twits might have taken this as a bit of a challenge and perhaps want to see me go back on my word — see me blink first, as I said.
These Democrats, who claim to be the party of the people, have morphed into the party above the people. They use this power to repress their followers, keeping them in constant need of the government to exist. In this case, the government is the Democrat Party. This explains why in cities like Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles that are falling into the abyss of former great cities, voters continue to re-elect Democrats.
If you think I’m judging the rapper harshly, note what she said just recently in response to critics who complained that she wasn’t releasing enough new “music.” “I have so much pressure,” she informed. “I’m working on a lot of s***….” You see, even she knows what she’s producing.
Big Tech companies like Twitter and Facebook have gone beyond the pale with what they did to silence discussion about the New York Post stories about Joe Biden’s lies and Hunter Biden’s corruption. In fact, by shutting down the Trump Campaign’s account for doing nothing other than tweeting out an article, I think that Twitter is interfering in the election.
